ETHICS AND PRIVACY
Ethics, privacy and confidentiality have been carefully considered in the RESILOC project to meet legal requirements and ethical considerations according to current legislation. Data collected during project activities in Gorizia are used exclusively to develop the RESILOC project objective, which is to increase Europe’s resilience to crises and disasters.
Protocols related to data processing in RESILOC follow the principles of data minimization (Art. 5 GDPR) and include the use of anonymization and pseudonymization techniques. In addition, the procedures related to data processing in RESILOC are designed following the legal requirements and ethical considerations approved by the specially formed Ethics Committee.
