From August 25 to 28, ISIG and the Municipality of Gorizia have participated to the 50th World Folklore Festival organised by the Cultural Association Etnos. During the opening ceremony, the RESILOC project and the journey implemented by the Local Resilience Team of Gorizia was presented, focusing on different aspects of the project, putting an emphasis on the issues of inclusiveness of processes aimed at community risk reduction, and also outlining “co-produced” goals for a new resilience strategy for the community of Gorizia.

Throughout the duration of the event, an information booth of the RESILOC project was set up at the Cesare Battisti Square in Gorizia, where information materials on civil protection issues and risks in the area were distributed, as well as where RESILOC staff shared information about project activities and promoted the initiatives of ResiFestGO, scheduled from October 13 to October 16, 2022.
