The project: For each site included in the World Heritage List, UNESCO requires a Management Plan whose objectives are: a) to ensure that the values that allowed the site to be recognized as a WHS are not altered in time; b) to harmonise the conservation of cultural and historical values with the local economic development; c) to create possibilities for participatory decision making at local level among all stakeholders.
On behalf of the Aquileia Foundation, ISIG drafts the Management Plan for the Aquileia UNESCO site.
