Descrizione: CRISAFE is a project aimed at developing a harmonized risk assessment methodology to evaluate the vulnerability of urban infrastructure and the population in common multi-hazard scenarios in Croatia, the Netherlands, and Italy. The assessment focuses on flood protection infrastructures, identifying weaknesses under the influence of threats such as heavy rainfall, floods, and earthquakes. By integrating advanced methods from previous projects, CRISAFE will implement outcomes on the IT platforms of critical infrastructure managers and emergency responders, creating a cascading multi-hazard warning system. Through case studies in Rotterdam (Netherlands) and Zagreb (Croatia), the project aims to raise awareness among the local population about risks and develop strategies to improve public access to risk information.
