The course “Notions of Natural Risk Management” is sponsored by the University of Trieste as part of the Interclass Master’s Degree Program in “Diplomacy and International Cooperation” LM-81. The course focuses on: development, sustainability and resilience, climate change, vulnerability, risk, emergency. Since 2021, together with the Civil Defense Service of the Municipality of Gorizia, ISIG has been intervening by offering presentations and activities on the concepts of vulnerability and resilience, and on the importance of adopting participatory approaches in the definition of municipal civil protection plans, offering students good practices, tools and concrete case studies.
