From Oct. 29 to Nov. 2, 2025, the city of Gorizia hosted the festival “Lands of Peace – Beyond Borders, the Future,” sponsored by the municipality and carried out with the involvement of the Christian-Catholic, Muslim, Jewish, Buddhist and Methodist communities.
The festival offered a multifaceted program of meetings, panel discussions and cultural events, addressing key issues such as interfaith dialogue, sustainability, gender equality, migration and global cooperation. Scholars, representatives of the faiths, and actors in the area exchanged views to identify common challenges and shared perspectives.
Alongside the moments of discussion, the audience was able to participate in theater performances, concerts and artistic initiatives designed to promote dialogue through different languages.
The event concluded with the signing of the Gorizia Manifesto for Dialogue and Peace, a shared commitment among religious communities to promote collaboration, inclusion and concrete action for social cohesion and sustainability.
The role of ISIG
ISIG supported the City of Gorizia in the conception and organization of the Festival, developing the concept and activities, consolidation of the partnership.
He also coordinated the content, collaborating with religious and institutional partners.
