Period: 2018-2019 Partners: Municipality of Gorizia (Lead Partner); Associazione Isonzo Gruppo di Ricerca Storica; Cultural Association èStoria Description: Gorizia 18-18 is proposed as an integrated and widespread project based on the organization of events, able to enhance the territories of the Isontino-trans-border area with special reference to the GECT area, which from a theater of war has developed as a laboratory of peace. Gorizia 18-18 is to be understood as a large event that encompasses diversified and widespread appointments, at the temporal (May 2018-June 2019) and territorial level, able to promote the reaching of different target groups.
Within the project, the Charter of Gorizia was drafted by the university students of the course of International and Diplomatic Sciences, a document that calls on European governments to follow values and strategies that underlie peaceful coexistence among peoples.
