Abstract: ISIG conducted a study that provided an overview and assessment of cross-border cooperation among European states in the three geographic areas of Central, Northern and Southeastern Europe; the so-called SWOT methodology was used with the specific parameters proposed by ISIG to assess the extent of cross-border cooperation.
SWOT analysis is of crucial importance, as it derives from the processes of cross-border cooperasion sets of eurisatically relevant indicators. The elements of the analytical scenario thus developed can then be modified to positively influence future scenarios. Cross-border cooperation will benefit from careful strategic planning and concrete actions organized by the Euroregion body established in the cross-border context.
This volume presents the specific analyses carried out on the Danubian-Balkan countries.
