We are pleased to invite you, in collaboration with Aiccre Friuli Venezia Giulia, to the European Conference “Good Democratic Governance: The New Standard for Council of Europe Member States” on Saturday, November 18, 2023, from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Laguna Palace Hotel in Grado!
The conference aims to examine strategies and concrete actions at the European, national, and regional levels to promote effective and democratic governance. The goal is to discuss and delve into the role of good democratic governance and its implications at various decision-making levels, with particular attention to the European perspective and practical actions for improving governance.
Speakers will include:
– Franco Brussa – President of the AICCRE Federation of FVG for the opening remarks
– Massimiliano Fedriga – President of the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region for institutional greetings
– Claudia Luciani – Director of the Department for Human Dignity, Equality, and Governance at the Council of Europe
– Pierluigi Trombetta – Diplomatic Advisor to the Minister for Regional Affairs and Autonomy and member of the Council of Europe’s Committee on Democracy and Governance
– Milena Bertani – National President of AICCRE
– Luca Ciriani – Minister for Relations with Parliament.
The conference will be moderated by Daniele Del Bianco – Director of ISIG.
