Description: The project aims to reconstruct the historical, socio-economic and environmental background of the border region, in order to illustrate the peculiarities of the Isonzo territory in the period of the Cold War. The objective of the project is to include this area in the network of pilot sites that adhere to the European Green Belt, which aims to mend territories and populations divided by the ancient iron curtain and to gain them the UNESCO Site recognition.
