Abstract: The book focuses on the memory of dialogue and the relations of interdependence that affect the Mediterranean, configuring the fluctuation of dialogue construction according to a perspective rooted in the social heritage. It attempts to identify the main conceptual strands of Mediterranean-ness, a concept that may be empirically utilizable if it is understood as an investment in the social heritage, with the prospect of benefiting from it.
The future of the Mediterranean basin will depend on its ability to revitalize its ancient dignity, increase its influence and obtain guarantees from other entities on the basis of its credibility.
