Descrizione:

Research and design activities under the MAppERS (Mobile Applications for Emergency Response and Support) project, which aims to identify gaps in the information exchange system in terms of territorial awareness, risk prevention and emergency. The citizen becomes a “territorial watchdog”, thanks to the development of a smartphone application that allows sharing – between the population and civil protection workers – precise information, localised via GPS, about the risk situations. The entire design process, through the contribution of citizens, involved in training courses on territorial control, responds to the long-term goal of engaging the population in risk management.
